Carie

Co-Owner, Stylist, Make-up Artists, Lash Extensions, Trainer

I have been a stylist for over 20 years, and my love for all things hair and makeup has only grown stronger over time. My passion goes beyond offering exceptional services—I’m dedicated to sharing my knowledge with anyone eager to learn. After graduating from David Pressley School of Cosmetology in 2000, I embarked on a journey of continuous education and specialization.

In 2005, I began training with Candy Shaw, focusing on French Cutting and Balayage, and I’ve since become certified in Glo Skin Beauty Makeup, Xtreme Lash, Elleebana Lash Lifts, and Keune color, with Bellami Hair Extensions certification on the horizon. I’ve had the privilege of training with some of the industry’s top educators, including Candy Shaw, Matty Conrad, Stephanie Brinkerhoff, Beth Minardi, Tabatha Coffey, and Martin Parsons, among others. I can’t get enough education—I’m always looking to learn more and perfect my craft.

I married my high school sweetheart, and we have two wonderful kids. I love going up north and spending time with my friends and family. There’s so much I love about my job that it’s become one of my hobbies. I still enjoy working behind the chair and take great pride in my role as a salon owner and educator. I’m passionate about helping stylists grow and providing them with a solid foundation for success.

Tari

Co-Owner

I have been on the management side of the beauty industry since the early 2000s, and I absolutely love the energy and the people. My sister Carie and I opened Tacari Salon in 2017, and we’ve found the perfect partnership (most of the time!). Carie is a talented stylist who excels in services, team development, and guest experience, while I focus on the "behind the scenes" aspects that I enjoy, like marketing and accounting.

I have 3 amazing kids who keep me extremely busy and I also have a 2nd full-time career as the Recruiting Director at General RV Center. When I'm not working (which I genuinely love), I spend time with family and friends, reading or binge-watch Netflix with my girls.

  • So far, I’ve trained with industry experts Candy Shaw, Amanda Brown, and Carie Sennett in French Cutting and Balayage. I’ve also attended MOB training and am currently working on my Bellami Hair Extensions certification.

Brittanie

STYLIST

  • I decided to become a stylist because I'm a people person and extroverted, and I needed a career with a creative outlet. From a young age, I loved coloring and styling my sisters' and friends' hair, and I truly believe that becoming a stylist was my calling.

I completed my cosmetology course at Lesprit Academy in 2017 and have since undergone additional training in French cutting, the sunlight balayage technique, highlight/foilayge placement, and updo techniques.

What I love most about my career is the ability to make people feel beautiful, build relationships, and constantly learn new techniques to enhance my skills and achieve the best results.

When I’m not at work, having a work-life balance is crucial for me. Outside of being a hairstylist, I’m also a mom, and raising my tiny humans takes up most of my “free time.”

Lyndsi

NAIL TECHNICIAN

  • I decided to become a nail technician because I felt that the traditional college path wasn’t going to provide the creative outlet I craved.

I earned my license by attending manicurist school in my hometown of Flushing, MI, and I’ve committed to ongoing education in various areas for the past 23 years.

What I love most about my career is that I feel happier and more accomplished at the end of my workday than at any other point. The job and my clients truly energize me.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about being in nature, traveling across this beautiful country and world, and enjoying the sights and food along the way.

After being away from my home state for over a decade, I’m thrilled to be back and working in such a beautiful area as Plymouth.
